alright im going to be doing the V6-V8 swap and i just decided to make new lines rather than hunt out brake lines from a donar car. my question is, will
25' of brake line be enough to do both sides or should i go ahead and buy 50' to have enough? i get a discount on the stuff so money and availablity isnt a problem.

well lets think about it. front of car at resovoir to rear ... x2 front of car at resovoir to front ... x2
I don't know the exact lengths of everything, but I'm guessing 8ftx2 + 4 ftx2 ... but that MAY NOT be enough. Can someone confirm or deny? Because that alone is 24ft.

and I am trying to include the hoses being moved around and through places, etc etc.

Axle/Gears: have no clue
why would you have to mess with the brake lines to do a swap in the first place? never done the swap on a third gen but have on other gm cars and never ran into that prob. just wondering.

i guess he just figured while the engine is out might as well do them since its easier then doing them with the engine in at least that thats why i did them on my 86 berlinetta when i rebuilt the engine

yea, it would be a heck of alot easier to do it without the engine in it because you dont have anything to hit your head on and anything being in the way.
