HELP!!! wtf is going on.

when i went to bleed my brakes the banjo bolts were leaking on both sides. this makes me mad cause i had replaced both the hoses and calipers, but neither of the kits came with new banjo bolts. not to mention when i was pulling everything off the banjo bolts had no washers on them. so when i put everything back together i tried both: with and without washers, and still no avail, the thing still leaks. what should i do!!!

you need new washers, and one on each side of the line fitting. It should go like this: caliper, washer, brake line fitting , washer, banjo bolt. Good luck!

Did you use new crush washers, or did you try to reuse the old ones?

new copper washers

if they still leak with those on then i would be very stumped

never seen or had or heard of them leaking, ever

thats pretty crazy,

also i never replace the bolts with new ones

never have any problem at all with original bolts

so hum

odd...

it has to be a washer problem or wrong bolts or something else

good luck

so i tried it without the washers (new copper ones) and they seemed to have held up so far. i didn't have my friend with me so i couldn't bleed them and tell for sure. but they look like they're holding up. i gues we'll find out tomorrow when i try to button everything up.

so i'll give an update tomorrow guys thanks!
