Rear brakes not working????!!!
Rear brakes not working????!!!
I have an 89 Firebird with PBR brakes (4 wheel disk). We tried to get it to pass emissions, but apparently, the rear brakes arn't working. We put the car on a lift and with me pushing on the brakes, the rears still spin. When you engage the emergency brake and the brake pedal, they will stop for a moment, but then start spinning again. We replaced the master cylinder and bled the brakes (starting with the cylinder and then the 2 rear wheels). The pistons on the calipers seem to be working fine. What else could this be? We are stuck now and have to get the car emmissioned in 2 days!
