1LE caliper pins..does it matter which way they go in?
does the e clip have to be on the outside? It was easier to tap them in from the front side them the back of the caliper. Getting them in was the biggest pain i had with the install.
My manual shows the e clip on the outside of the caliper. I put it on the inside. IM wondering sence the pads slide on this if it might cause some porblems. The pins has two slots the outer most slot is for the e clip. IM worried the pad might hang up on the inner slot.

Well i took the car for a test run. The brakes work great so i guess it doesnt matter which way the pins go in.
Thing i noticed most is how the brakes pull the car down from higher speed with no problems. And will only get better when the pads and rotors get to know each other a little better. I used a stock type semi metallic pad. so the brakes will work good when the pads are cold. I dont really do any type of full on racing so to speak.
Great upgrade!

I install the pins from the outside and put the clip on the inner side of the abutment.

I wasnt sure. Heck i couldnt even get it in from the back side because of the banjo bolt.
