Rotor cleanup?
So I left my new rotors in my car for the last few months, and since my car was outside my rotors were completely covered in rust. I already cleaned them all up and they look perfect once again.
But... Is there anything I can spray or wipe on them to keep them looking nice and fresh, without them just getting all rusted again?
No spray or anything to protect them with?

I was thinking about just painting the other sections black, and just leaving the surface of the rotor as bare metal as the pads will hit it anyways. Good idea?
( Pic is sorta what I'm thinking )

Re: Rotor cleanup?
People have used caliper paint on the rotors. Mine are zinc washed so I couldn't tell you if the caliper paint works.
