LT1 Brake Wheel Fitment

Is ther anyone running 15 inch rims on the rear of an LT1 brake set up. In the wheel fitment chart these brakes are not included and I have been reading forever and can not seem to find an answer. I am in the process of doing a drum to disc upgrade and a 4th gen rear swap in my 84. Do the calipers have to be ground down. I was thinking about going with a 15 inch rim just so I can run a thicker wall for traction. I would like to run a drag style rim. Does anyone know if DOT laws in Canada let us grind down the calipers. Thanks for any info folks

Looks like the 15's fit just fine, a little room to spare!

Yes the LT1 rear brakes fit with stock 15" wheels, I'm running this setup on my car with a little room to spare

Re: LT1 Brake Wheel Fitment

I've got the LT1 brakes on my rear with stock 15" camaro wheels with no problems.
