Is the cable leading from the parking brake handle to the metal piece that makes the connection to the cables connecting to the rear calipers for a 3rd gen longer or shorter than a 4th gen? I swapped my original e brake lever for a 4th gen unit and even though it works using the original cable it takes a second pull to get full tension on the parking brake. Anyone know?
