Need Help hooking up emergency brake
Hello I have a 1984 camaro and when I bought it the e-brake didn't work, when you pull on the hand brake it doesn't feel like the cable is hooked up, and there is no stopping action at all and I have a manual so I need it hooked up.
Please if you have any advice on hooking it up or what parts you need to hook it up etc. or what I should check etc.

The adjustment point is forward in the tunnel above the drive shaft. You may find that the cables aren't hooked up or they're broken.

Check the cables and also check to see that your rear calipers aren't frozen up, they tend to do that after lack of usage. I have the recall rebuild kits on hand for them, they have been discontinued now. If you haven't been to the dealership on the recall for your manual car, do it soon and they may still fix it after 20+ years.
