is sand blasting safe?

Axle/Gears: 2.73--
is sand blasting safe?

I was wondering if it is safe to sandblast the outside of my rear brake drums?

the brake drum covers? Do you have the aluminum ones? I would do it anyways, it should be fine but I'm not 100% positive.

No issues at all. High temp barbecue paint works to keep them nice looking.
