4th gen brakes

I need some help. I have an 86 Z28 with rear drums and I have been given a free 4th gen rear with disc brakes. It came from a 94 camaro with a v6 and a 5 speed. Is this considered an upgrade or is it not worth it. Are these brakes different from a z28?

Those are Lt1 rear brakes which are the same as all rear discs from '89-97. Swap it in, you'll be glad you did. You'll need a new prop valve, different brake lines and e-brake cables. LMK if you need any help.
