A hydroboost system. Would be smaller. But it adds a few more hoses. But thats the only thing I know

there are companies that make frame mounted boosters for classics like tri-five chevys and older pickups. You might be able to take that design as a basis for reference and make something but to the best of my knowledge there is no kit to do this.

it depends on what you want to do with the car but you could always go with a tilton double master cylinder setup for manual brakes with the masters under the dash.

i always thought that a chrome power brake booster cleaned the engine bay up pretty nice without having to do major work.
