what rear came in the 1986 trans ams (disk brakes)? if it says performance suspension on passenger side does this mean ws6? this car is an LB9 auto 700r4 thanks guys

Anyway, best way to know is look. Count the number of bolts on the cover. Its most likely a 9 bolt borg warner rear. 2.77 was the std ratio, 3.27 was optional. If it has rear discs, it had to have WS6 as well so as long as the rear was not swapped in at a later time you know for sure. You could also measure the sway bars, 36mm front 24mm rear.
