I am looking at upgrading my brakes after recently driving a Ford Focus I feel my brakes are lacking the stopping power I need.

I have an all stock 1987 Iroc-Z. I have looked through some threads and have discovered that I should get HAWK pads and will be looking to get some of them.

I however would also like to upgrade my rotors and am thinking about replacing my brake lines with steel braided ones as well. After looking through some threads I have found several arguments on drilled and slotted rotors or not. I would just like some clarification about them. Do they actually improve performance?

Also since I have 4wheel disc are my back rotors and pads the same as my front rotors and pads? Or will I need to look for specific rotors/pads for each.

If someone could point me to a website as well where I can look into buying some of these items that would be greatly appreciated as well. Now I am not looking for like EXTREME breaking power but id like a decent setup with a reasonable price. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

The rotors and pads are different. Hawks pads, new rotors, along with bearings and seals, and steel lines should provide an improvement. For daily driving, IMO, fancy rotors are overkill. The following site will provide what you need:
