New brake master cylinder
well mine is shot and i was wondering about a good brand or model to replace. Also i want to upgrade because i plan on replaceing the rear drums with disc and also beefing up the brakes at a later time. I looked at summit but they seem to only have 1 brand(dorman) and according to the info none are for my car. just appreciate any info.

Re: New brake master cylinder
You have an '83 which may/may not have metric fittings on it. Upgrade to a newer '90-92 unit, it'll be aluminum and have modern metric fittings on it. Any standard brand will do, most will be reman units anyway, most with a long warranty on it. If you really want to upgrade, get a CPP master with a built in prop valve.
