LS1 to C5 fronts
Just a quick question guys.
Would it be possible to use the 13" front rotor from a C5 on the LS1 set up by just changing the caliper mounting bracket?
Would the LS1 caliper work?
Thanks
Jakob

You can use a C5 caliper on the LS1 abutment bracket (caliper carrier) and LS1 12" rotor. To use the C5 13" rotor you will have to switch to the C5 spindle bracket and abutment bracket (caliper carrier).

Re: LS1 to C5 fronts
The BMR brackets are to convert a fourth gen 93-02 to C5 brakes. These brackets will not work on a thirdgen.

Re: LS1 to C5 fronts
Why not? What's different between a 4th gen and the 4th gen brakes on a 3rd gen that would inhibit the use if these brackets?

Re: LS1 to C5 fronts
I know the c5's are bigger diameter but also put the rotor outward probably 1/8"-1/4". I don't think anyone makes the spindle bracket, but one could be made to use your caliper and bracket on the c5 rotors. I almost did this, but my choice to use the 15" Z28 wheels wouldn't allow the 13" rotors.
