Question regarding rear disc brake calipers

Did cars equipped with the 1LE option have the same REAR disc brakes as every other rear disc optioned car? Or are the rear calipers on a 1LE different? The reason I ask is because I put a set of "1LE" rear brakes on my wife's IROC-Z and now one of the calipers isn't clamping. I was going to buy a brand new caliper from Napa and they show a caliper with a note that says "For vehicles without high performance option". I'm just wondering if in fact the rear calipers are the same or different from a 1LE car to another regular rear disc car. If they are different, does anyone have a part number for the 1LE caliper, or better yet, have a set of them for sale?

All 82-88 rear disc cars were equipped with the iron Delco-Moraine calipers and 10.5" rotors. All 89-92 rear disc cars were equipped with the so-called 1LE alum calipers and 11.7" rotors. Regardless of year, they all have the same J65 RPO.

Re: Question regarding rear disc brake calipers

Compare the rear with the fronts. If they're the same, the car is equipped with the old-style Delco-Moraines. If the rear looks nothing like the fronts (which would still be Delco-Moraines), the car's equipped with PBR's (alum).
