SSBC - Anyone Use Them?

Guys my front brake pads are almost to the point of grinding into the rotors (Although the rotors are shot too so I'm not concerned), and I was looking for a good replacement set. I have been looking at a pair of powerslot slotted rotors and a set of Hawk HPS pads. But I was also looking at the Stainless Steel brakes short stop kit:

How do these compair with the powerslot/hawk combo and what would be the advantage of choosing that vs the SS brakes package?

Re: SSBC - Anyone Use Them?

It's $30 cheaper at Year One. Part number BK82.

I've got the SSBC kit. I like it. Dramatic difference vs stock. But, when the pads wear out I will be replacing them with the Hawk pads. I have powerslot rotors and HPS pads on my N-body daily driver and they are way better than stock. I can't compare the 2 directly as they are very different vehicles, but either way seems to be a cheap effective upgrade.

I ran that for about 2 summers. Worked very well, no more fad like stock. Summit also sells it cheaper.

Re: SSBC - Anyone Use Them?

Hey CamaroPerformers did an article on the SSBC Quick Change caliper kit. No numbers are given, which sucks, but the installation is outlined. Hope this helps!
