I know theres alot of posts about the stop light switch, but i thought id get a better and more clear answer from posting my own.

Basically, the brake lights stopped working before winter, so i started checking it out. Ive got power coming from both connections to my stop light switch. And both turn signals work and the rear lights work but no brake lights.

The stop light swich looks pretty beat up, but are there any other possibilities i could check before i call the parts store?

 

have you checked the bulbs or connection at the bulbs? there is also a ground wire near the trunk latch.
