shooting fluid!
I did some exhaust replacement work this weekend and that went pretty well but after I got the car down off the jacks and such I moved it back into my parking space and noticed that the brake pedel was hissing and there is a swooshing noise comming from around the booster. At first I was concerned that I may have damaged a line while moving the intermediate pipe around to get it on, but after pumping the brakes a bit and getting under the car there was no visible leak or evidence of one anywhere. I opened the hood, started pumping the brakes, and there I see brake fluid in the resuvoir shooting back up against the lid. I took off the lid and gave the brake a very slow press and it shot fluid out everywhere! I havn't noticed any major difference in braking, but I've only taken it around the driveway at slow speeds. I've never seen fluid shoot back so much. My Firebird is my only drivable car and I need it to get to work and school, so how safe is it to drive? (if at all). Anyone know what the problem is?

Assuming you made sure to check the level of fluid before replacing the cover, and your pedal is not spongy, you should be good 2 go.
