quickest way to disk brakes in the rear
quickest way to disk brakes in the rear
Hi all,
with an 88 camaro what is the easiest way to swap to disk brakes that will require the least amount of work and allow me to keep the stock 5 star rims? What kind of work is involved and how much am I looking to spend? Not getting slotted and drilled rotors yet, just a simple disk brake conversion. Please list everything I need to buy and how to do the swap. Looking to grab brakes out of a junk yard.

Re: quickest way to disk brakes in the rear
If you're grabbing junkyard parts, the easiest is to find a third or fourth gen that has disk brakes. Although they can be swapped over with some minor work, sometimes it can be easier and cheaper to just swap the entire diff.
