Are all 98-02 rear disc brakes the same?

Transmission: T56
Axle/Gears: 3.23:1
Are all 98-02 rear disc brakes the same?
I always see people mentioning LS1 rear ends; Are all 98-02 rear ends the same as far as the brakes go?
Is a 98-02 V6 rear end w/ posi going to have the same brakes as the Z28/TA?
I'm making a guess here but am I correct in assuming that the rear end internals are the same as well? If I get a 3.42 POSI out of a V6 will it be the same as a 3.42 POSI out of a V8?
