C4HD + LS1 brake q for the gurus
Hey,
I'm going to be doing a C4HD rotor upgrade to my 3rd gen but I will be using the LS1 front calipers with this not the C4HD's.
My question is that I've found a template for the C4HD conversion plate (conversion bracket, but we'll call it plate not to be confused with caliper bracket) for 3rd gens but it is designed to work with the C4 calipers/brackets, Are the LS1 calipers/brackets dimensionally the same and will these conversion plates work?
I've also found a template for the LS1 brake conversion but that shouldn't work due to the C4HD rotor being 1" larger in diameter.
If they will I can make them up but I just don't want to have my brakes apart and have the wrong parts.
Thanks

Hey,
Thanks I've been on the Lukeskaff website and all I can find is using C4HD rotors with C4HD calipers and LS1s with LS1s as complete sets. But because I'm mixing and matching it might not fit right.
I have a guy locally here that has some premade brackets from a while back so I might just pick up a set and see if they'll work. If they don't then atleast I'll have a good starting point for modifying it.

Sure why not? C4HD's are a bit thinner but that 1/8 will get taken up real quick once the pistons move out to contact the rotor, no different than pads wearing.
