Caliper Locked Up?

The trans. shop said my DS caliper locked up. At first I thought they were BS-ing cause it was fine when they towed it there, but I guess it decided to lock up in transit. I did a search and have concluded that the brake hose is to blame? We got it roll-able by just draining some fluid and closing the piston. Obviously, we aren't driving it right now. My question is, do I just replace the rubber hose that goes into the flex line? Or replace the whole thing up to the master? Or could it be something else?

Thank you.

Re: Caliper Locked Up?

Which portion of the brake line do you suspect is bad? The rubber line from the brake caliper to the hard line? You really shouldnt need to replace the hard lines unless there's some circumstance that caused them to be be fouled.

Re: Caliper Locked Up?

Generally speaking, the problem is general the rubber line.
