Hey guys. I've been trying to do a brake job on my car, and its become the brake job from hell. New rotor, caliper was busted so I got a new one, replaced the pads, regreased the bearing and everything. Got it all reasembled and went to go drive it, and it was making these disgusting grinding noises. Took the wheel off and I found that even though clearances are perfectly fine looking, the caliper guide pins are somehow grinding against the rotor. Any idea what's causing this? I really need to get the girl up and running again. Thanks in advance!
