I Don t quite understand the LS1 upgrade idea yet. How will i find the LS1 parts?
DO I get a donor from the salvage yards?
I just need some help understanding where I start the research.

If you want a kit, try here:

http://www.flynbye.com/catalog/i47.html

If not, the above will at least provide a pic and info of parts you'll need from the bone yard. You'll have to have rotors cut down for hubs. A search should provide a ton of info.

"LS1 brakes" is really a misnomer. As LS1 engines came in several vehicles. The "LS1 brakes" refers to the 1998 through 2002 Camaro & Firebird brakes. They are a decent set up.

More info on brake upgrades can be found here:

Ebay man. I got EVERYTHING front and rear for $350 shipped. Didn't have to turn the rotors, and the rear even had almost new brake pads!
