Right rear brake hose??????
Right rear brake hose??????
I'm having a problem finding the correct right rear brake hose for my car. I have a 89 Transam GTA 4 wheel disc brake car. I replaced the "center" hose on the rear. The left caliper has a hard brake line (no hose) and the right side has a hose going into the caliper. Every hose I've seen at the auto parts store is the wrong hose. Anyone know which hose I need?

Re: Right rear brake hose??????
thanks for the reply, It is indeed from a 88 or older car. was able to find the correct hose. It would probably explain why my speedometer is off also. I'll try and figure out my gear ratio this weekend.

Re: Right rear brake hose??????
I used a front hose on both sides. My steel lines were bad and could not get back hose. I used the premade steel lines bent them to match old one. I also put fuel hose over brake hose to protect it from rubbing on rear. Mine is 84 disc rear.
This really made my live simple when I went to C5 brakes. I just connected the C5 hose to steel lines and to caliper.
