Guys,
I am specing wheel fitments. I have not yet swaped the stock rear brakes for Wilwood FSL calipers to match my fronts. I need to make sure I have enough clearance from the face of the caliper to the mounting surface of the wheel.
So for anyone with big 4 or 6 piston rear calipers. Can you tell what the measurement is from the wheel mounting surface to the face of the caliper?
For my front Wilwoods, the calipers stick out 1.125" further than the wheel mounting surface. I suspect the rears should be less since the rear rotor is typically inset more than the fronts.
Thanks,
John
