Brake System Help
So im thinking of buying a 1988 Firebird for $200 the car hasn't ran for 2 and a half years since the brake system completely failed so basically everything needs to be replaced for the brake system, i'm wondering how hard it will be to replace the entire brake system

Re: Brake System Help
much harder than fixing whats actually wrong with the car. chances that every component of the brake system failed are very very slim.
Chances are its just a rotted brake lines that failed.
200 bux is much less than the parts/scrap value for the car. so you really cant lose.

Re: Brake System Help
Thats true, the guy just decided to park the car and let it sit because he didn't want to fix it since he has to much project cars as it is. The irony behind this in autoshop at school we just did brake repair and replacement so i have confidence i can do it
