LT1 rear disc setup?
I know this has been covered a zillion times, but I've searched and searched and can't find the answer I need.
I bought a 1991 GTA 3.23:1 rear disc rear end W/O the discs/calipers to go into my 1991 Z28. I bought a complete set of 1997 Z28 rear discs with calipers, mounting brackets; everything.
I am having trouble with getting things lined up properly - I can't seem to figure out how to appropriately space everything to where the discs/calipers line up. Even with NO spacers between the axle tube and mounting plates, the calipers are still too close to the disc (as in the piston side of the caliper is VERY close to the disc itself).
Am I missing something here? Is there a part I'm missing or am I just doing something wrong? Do I need to use the 89-92 rotors instead of the 93-97 ones?
Any help would be appreciated!

Re: LT1 rear disc setup?
I know that Flynbye says the 4th gen rotors will work but as I will be doing the same thing later I am also wondering. It would seem to me that if shims might be needed then there is a chance that no shims could be to much. I hope someone has more insight on this besides just grinding some away from the mounting bracket.

It's been another few months; anyone else run into this? I've got the Camaro out of the garage today and REALLY want to swap rear ends.
