whats the best brakes for a 92 'bird...looking to change everything

What are you looking to do with the car? There are options from mild to wild. And how much money do you want to spend? Front or all 4?

are any of these lighter then the 1LE brakes?

While the OEM brakes may not be lighter in static weight, they are lighter in the more important rotational inertia. The other options, no.

The Wilwood kit I put together is about the same static weight as the 1LE. This is with aluminum hubs.
