Need help... Drum brake rearend in disc brake car.
When I bought my 89 Iroc the brakes weren't exactly the best. I replaced the calipers and hoses (fronts were sticking) I started noticing the front brakes would grab alot more than the rears. So I started looking around at my rpo codes and the car originally had rear discs on a 2.77 geared 9 bolt. Now the car has a drum brake 10 bolt in it. I'm assuming thats the reason I don't have up to par rear brakes. I've been searching but I can't find where someone went disc to drum it was always the opposite. What exactly will I need to change to get the rear brakes working normally? Change the prop valve. I have a 82 car I could take parts from but since my car is a 89 and the donor is a 82 wouldn't the 82 have standard and the 89 metric?

Well could I just cut and reflare the metric line of the 89 using the nuts and proportioning valve of the 82? I used standard nuts on metric line when I did the abs delete on my 4th gen. Would I be able to do the same for this?
