Least amount of Brake dust possible.

Well since i own a 90' GTA, any GTA owner knows that cleaning brake dust is the absolute worst! So i'm just wondering what brake pad/Rotor combo to go with? Just stock all around Disc brakes. Thanks! Price isn't really an issue, i'd just prefer it to be reasonable. Done going with cheap brake sets.

Oh how I can relate. Cleaning brake dust off GTA wheels is not fun. Check out my thread on my new brake pads/rotor setup.

I don't think your pads are going to be "the least dust possible".

To the OP, I would look at the Satisfied GranSport or Centric Posi-quiet ceramic (105). These are nice every day pads.

Re: Least amount of Brake dust possible.

I have found even the cheaper lines of ceramic pads create very little dust.
I prefer EBC brake pads but they are a little more spendy.

Some of the cheaper pads may last just fine but dont' seem to have the "bite" that the EBC's do.

Re: Least amount of Brake dust possible.

mr gasket makes a shield that you put behind your wheels to eliminate this an I had a set for the longest with my FORMULA wheels and they worked great. they are a flat black so they aren't visible.

if you do any hard driving they will hinder cooling which dust is going to be a factor no matter what in this case.
