rear disc convertion question !

Hey guys!
i have a 1990 iroc-z and a 1986 iroc-z. the 86 has rear discs and the 90 not, i was wondering do i have to swap out the whole housing from a car to another. Or can i leave the housing and just un bolt the disc assembly from the housing and bolt it to my 1990?? thanks

You can.

I assume the 90 is equipped with drums. If so, the axle flanges are different and will require modification.
