I upgraded the rear end to to a 98 model camaro rear with disc brakes. It drives fine and it stops but under hard stops it doesnt. Do I just need to a upgrade the proportioning valve or do I need to do something else? Help would be greatly appreciated.

 

Do you have to swap to a newer style master cylinder and everything for that swap?

That my be worth looking into.

Also make sure the brakes are well bled.

 

I don't know that's what Im asking. It stops and all that In town. But try stopping fast It doesnt. I know someone on here has done a 4th gen rear swap that should know.

 

Most likely you didn't change the proportioning valve although it could be simple stuff like bad pads, air in the lines, stuck pistons or guide pins frozen.
