Mine was plug and play. The whole setup was installed without an issue.

Re: bigbrakeupgrade.com

Looks to be plug & play to me. The only thing I see missing is brake fluid to bleed the system.

There is another item to consider, that is the spindle to strut bolts (2 per side). Sometime along the way GM switched to torque-to-yield (TTY) bolts. Or maybe they were always TTY, I don't know. I do know that in '92 the bolts are TTY and need to be replaced each time they are loosened.

Been there, didn't do that, have some bolts that are in two pieces...

RBob.

Re: bigbrakeupgrade.com

It's as plug and play as you can get.

Support the A Arm with a jack.
Disconnect brake line
Remove the tie rod end from spindle
Disconnect the ball joint
Remove two bolts to strut

Reverse to install complete brake and spindle assembly

I got the LS1 brake upgrade from Scott and was very impressed.

Re: bigbrakeupgrade.com

The turn stop or whatever you call it may be an issue. Scott does a great job, recommended.
