Rear caliper question.

a few months ago, my rear wheel seal and started leaking. After I had it fixed it sounded like the brake was binding and making a clanking sound. I'm thinking the grease from the rear end saturated the brake caliper since the inside of the tire was wet. I removed the tire and took two cans of brake cleaner and sprayed everything and it stopped for a while. it is doing it once more. I am thinking that slider pins got gummed up. Should I take those out and clean those as well?
