Unsure about direction of brake upgrade
This winter I'm building up a 10 bolt and a front suspension. I'm using a 4th gen rear so it'll have discs, so I'll be changing the proportioning valve.
As part of the new front suspension, I want to upgrade my front brakes as I am unhappy with the stock performance but I am unsure how to do it.
Right now I'm between
I know the LS1 brakes are better but is it worth the expense and hassle? I plan to drop a mild 350 in one day so I want to make sure the brakes will be adequate. Which brake upgrade makes the most sense?

- LS1 brake upgrade
- Upgrading stock brakes (wilwood calipers, rotors, pads)

The ls1 swap is absolutely worth the hassle, its not as hard to do as you might think

I'll second that opinion. The LS1 brakes are superior, and once you swap the spindles out you'll have some other options that should bolt up easily as well if you decide you want more stopping power in the future.
Not certain about this, but I would imagine there are a lot more aftermarket improvements for the LS1 brakes out there too, since they're newer (better pads, calipers, rotors, etc).
