loop in hard lines why ?
HI all i have fitted headers to mr 88 formula. the hard lines are very close to the header . im replacing the lines and would like to run them under the stearing colum and loose the loops to gain clearance . anyone ?

Instead of hoses manufacturers use loops to allow brake lines to flex when the chassis flexes.

Exactly: they are there to keep them from cracking from vibration and body flex.
Either figure out a way to retain them, or get braided stainless flex hoses to replace them. One way or another there needs to be some "give" in them.

You can sandwich them between the column & subframe to move them away from the exhaust.Thats what i did.
