GM disc/drum prop valves stil available?
GM disc/drum prop valves stil available?
Goping to get rid of the poor designed ABS on my 97 Chevy truck- a bad system with variable pedal feel and distance. It has no prop valve I assume built in the ABS so I need one. Ive heard the aftermarkets are variable quality and often SAE thread. Are there any pre ABS metric valves still out there?

I have a 95 K1500. The ABS failed in a way that all I had to do was pull a couple of fuses to disable it (happy day - I always hated the way it worked). I did not have to mess with any brake lines. Yes, the brakes still are not great, but I will live with it.

Not sure what size lines that truck has but I have a few third gen camaro front disk rear drum prop valves.
