Changed out the pads on my baby, took her for a spin and the front right side caught on fire right at the caliper, so I decided I'm just going to do a whole front end brake job.
The flames were pretty mild and I put out the little flames relativity fast ( 30 secs-1 min) I was wonder if this is going to cause damage to anything extra I should go ahead and replace.
I was wondering if there is anything else I should do while I'm down there maintenance wise(hasn't seen any love in the frontend/brake department).? Anything else I need to grab that's not on this list? I already have pads and fluid.
Sounds like the rubber line was bad, collapsed, causing the caliper to stay clamped down, and then driving it, and yup.... Had that happen in my first bird.
