handbrake cable mounting bracket

Hi guys,

Ive been trying to track down a rattling / clanking noise on my 84 when driving, it sounded like something going in time with the wheels but after a bit more investigating it looks like the problem is the bracket that holds the handbrake cables.

its literally just dangling around up there and the long bolt is hitting off the driveshaft as it spins around.

I cant actually see how this is held onto the underside of the car, unless that little tab with the hole in is for it, because its not anywhere near the bracket at the moment.

Thanks

The cables fell out of their guides, you can see one in the picture, RIGHT at the end of the adjuster(thread) in the tunnel. The cables should be tucked behind there
