I bought a set of the All Star 7.5 disc brake conversion brackets and rotors to use on another project of mine that has a 7.5" rear in it, but was thinking about using them to convert my '89 Camaro (that has a 7.5 as far as I can tell) to disc brakes. All Star also sells calipers for this conversion but they don't have built in parking brakes, so I was wondering if the rear calipers off of an early '80's Cadillac would work since they look identical to the GM metric calipers but have the built in parking brake. Maybe there's a better way to do this: I'm new to converting cars to rear disc brakes using aftermarket parts so I would appreciate any ideas on this. I'm not looking for anything fancy, just disc brakes that work better than the drum brakes I want to replace.
