[SD] 92 RS LS1 Powered (lowered price) !!!SOLD!!!
92 RS LS1 Powered (lowered price) !!!SOLD!!!
I have decided to sell my 92 RS project car to buy a Corvette. I call it a project car because it still needs alittle finishing. I have been driving it most on the summer thou.
About the car. I bought it last year on ebay. It would run but die when you gave it gas. The intank fuel line was split. Drove it all summer, autocrossed it once. Over the winter I basically rebuilt the whole car mechanically.
5.3 iron block bored for stock LS1 pistons with new rings, stock LS1 crank and rods with new bearings, Comp custom cam, ported 799 heads, LS6 intake with new 28lb injectors and TB, 85mm MAF, 02 Camaro exhaust manifolds, Edelbrock cat back, 411 PCM Tuned by Frost.
4l60e from 02 TA, was rebuilt, Transgo kit, Beast sun shell, 4l70e planeties and clutches, this was not a stock rebuild. 2800 Yank stall.
02 TA rear with 3.23 gears and disk brakes
C5 front brakes with new calipers and rotors
Koni Yellows all around, 1LE front bar and stock (19mm?) rear bar with new poly bushings and end links, adjustable panard bar and rear control arms, adjustable castor/camber plates, all new rubber bushing in front lower control arms, trimmed 4th gen rear springs with isolators, new trimmed front springs (700lb), bolted in Alston subframe connectors.
GM ZR1 17x9 wheels, excellent shape, 2in front adapters, 275/40/17 BFG tires, rear are new, front need replacing.
Interior in stock with an Alpine CD, stock speakers I believe, very clean, good dash with just the DS corner cracked.
Exterior looks great for a car this age, no rust, pretty straight, very little clear is pealing, T tops either need seals or adjusting, leak alittle (car stored indoors)
$5000 obo

Re: 92 RS LS1 Powered
Nice car and great price man! It has costed me well over $5,000 to do my swap and that's not even including the price of the car. Good luck on the sale

Re: 92 RS LS1 Powered
I will deliver the car to any buyer within reasonable distance if they find me a suitable C5 Vette to drive home.
Autocross went well. Was just a local for fun event. I was the fastest V8 car there among mostly imports.
