Contemplating sale
I really really really Love my car. The proceeds from it's sale could do a lot of good for my households bottom line in these tough economic times ... What to do ... Was looking to hear some input from other people before making this decision.
I have a 1988 Chevrolet Camaro in Gun Metal Grey Metallic paint. Paint is new on Original hood, roof, lift gate & spoiler (low profile w/ built in break light).
It has the ORIGINAL 305 (1 time rebuilt), runs awesome and rolls as smooth as a Cadillac. It is a 4 speed automatic trans car (recent inspection and testing checked out as perfect!) and I don't know my gear ratio for the rear but it only leaves the right tire track if the tires chirp (so not a super rear). New exhaust from catalytic Converter back (OEM). Complete Fuel Injector (TBI) rebuild has been done. 12,000 miles on new shocks, struts, idler arms & tie rods (Only OEM replacements used). New thermostat, thermo housing and all related fan switches and relays. BF Goodrich Radial TA RWL 245s (slightly wider tires than the std).
The grey cloth interior is in great shape except for the lack of material on the headliner. The only interior items that are not original are the steering wheel (Grant GT 4 spoke, 12") and the radio (Pioneer CD deck with detachable face & starter interrupt, new speakers installed at purchase. Pioneer also matched to radio & installed in original speaker housings). I have the original steering wheel & radio (AM/FM Cassette ERS). The only white marked parts that show any signs of wear are the outer markings on the cruise control and the driver's side power window switch.
It has 81,000 original miles. NADA books a high retail as $5,613 ... no allowance for mileage. Would you sell this car if it were yours?
pics r too big to post here. Posting 1 exterior pic though
