I've heard that my orange IROC has been seen around Willimantic Ct in the last year or two. I'm looking to get in touch with the owner of the car to discuss buying it back. I've regretted selling the car ever since circumstances forced me to and it would mean the world to me to be able to get my car back. To prove I actually am the previous owner I offer the following information...

1988 Chevy Camaro
Badges (inside and out) say Z28 / IROC - VIN will show that the car is in fact a RS / Sport Coupe
Car was originally an automatic - I swapped a T5 into it with a Hurst short-throw shifter
Car was originally maroon with gold trim - was painted a custom bright orange, with pearl and metal flake with white stripes over the hood / deck
Interior was originally tan, is now black
Car was originally a 305 TBI, was replaced with a 355 and an Edelbrock carb
Rear axle was replaced with a Moser 12 bolt with a True-Trac and 3.73 gears
Car had Lakewood lower rear control arms
Car used to burn oil (I suspect a cylinder or 2 had bad rings)
Car has a grant steering wheel
Heater box / ac equipment has been removed from the engine bay
Car has the "wonderbar" which an RS / Sport Coupe would not
Car has the roof console with map light, sunglass holster, and flashlight (which was missing)

Car was registered in CT before I traded it to Scranton Motors approximately 5 years ago.

I could go on and on.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE if you have any information about the current (or even previous) owner of the car - email me or PM me. Even if they aren't willing to sell, I need to try to get the car back before I replace it with another IROC.

Car has been found! As of this morning she's home, parked in my garage under lock and key.

I never thought I'd get her back.
