Plz help me identify missing wire!

I bought a 85 iroc 305 tpi with a blown motor. I pulled the 305 out and decided to put a carbed 350 out of a 97 truck and put the motor in the Camaro. I go to start the car and I'm getting no crank ,and the fuel pump doesn't sound like it is priming and no fuel or oil pressure. Plus there is no power to my fuse box under the dash on the driver side of the car. But my head lights come on?? So I read some threads on here and a lot people where talking about the fusable links at the starter. So I Disconnected the starter wires and fed them threw the back of the motor to take a look at the wires condition and the fusable links condition. Well sure enough the wire had fell apart right at the link. Well while I was dealing with that I noticed their was a wire missing that was attached to the ring connector with the other wire? Does any one know where this wire goes? And I cannot find 16 fusable links ,can I just use a 15 or 20 inline fuse? Plz help

Looks like you've got a mess of hacked-up original and homemade wiring. It's going to be tough for anyone on here to tell you where that goes as it's not original. About the only thing you can do is to look for other torn wires in the engine compartment, and trace them back to where they come from.

With the fuseable link looks like it goes to the starter lug.
