Well guys im looking for a 85-89 Camaro. It has to be a v8 (tuned port prefered but can do without), has to be a 5spd and most importantly it has to just about rust free. I dont mind a road trip for the right car at the right price.
Ttops preferred but a hardtop would be alright, Let me know what people have a what they are looking for it, PS has to be under $2500 period

If you have a total project as long as its a v8 5spd camaro let me know(needs to be close if not drivable) Dont mind bad clutch, blown engine and so forth if your close.

I have an 84 z28 with a 350 and 5 speed. Engine is a GM crate motor and a beefed up rebuilt t-5. The motor is 300hp/356ftlbs. The car drives and the paint and body are 85% the interior is about 75% All complete. It needs weatherstripping and thats about all. I bought it from a friend who did the work to it a few years ago then put about 10k miles on it before his GF got prego and it was put in storage he has been reluctant to sell it to me for along time. I bought it a few months ago and have gotten it road worthy again and inspected. It has new brakes,lines and rotors in the front and im replacing the radiator this weekend along with hoses and thermostat. I put $3500 into it and would like around that for it.

 

1988 formule LB9, 5 speed, 4 wheel disc brackes, 3.42 posi, many new parts. no rust hole. just needs paint. will meet you part way if imterested. 2150.00

Well guys thanks for responding but I need to make to clear I guess Im only looking for a 85-89 CAMARO, no other years wanted and no firebirds wanted and I was really going to look for a car around $2500 or less unless its really really nice low milage. thanks

 

i have a 1989 RS w/ a 305 TBI & a 5speed. it also has a borg warner 9 bolt rear w/ 3.73 gears. i started to restore the car. i striped all the paint off there was no rust at all. the car is in primer. asking $2,000

 

its a 91 camaro rs used to be 305 TBI now 350 TBI..i took out the AC compressor and re rerouted the serpintine belt to just run the water pump, crank, alternator, and power steering, the smog pump is still attached, but not hooked up. none of the emissions are hooked up but i have everything to put back on it if you want it. i have new chrome valve covers, new spark plug wires (many sets) if you want them, bosch +4 spark plugs installed, new edelbrock shorty headers with replaced collectors and a cutoff flange installed with a remote switch. The exhaust is Flowmaster and there is no rust whatsoever on the car. I have installed a multi-color LED underbody kit and an oogah horn in addition to the regular horn. New struts (lift supports) on the hood and hatch, T-tops are in great condition with no scratches and has leaked once on me through a car wash...needless to say i hand wash it now. i just put in a remanufactured T-5 transmission because i didnt like mine and a new Luk clutch. I replaced the rear gears from 3.23 to 3.73 because of wear. Has IROC rims with newer Nankang tires with excellent tread. Never been in an accident, has a few paint scratches that i have touch up paint for but never got around to it, no dents, minor ding on the hood (not noticible from far away), original white paint, original red interior with minor tears in dirver seat from normal wear. New Sony X-plod head unit with new Bazooka 4 Channel amp that powers the front Boston Acoustik and the rear JBL 6x9. Also new Boss amp that powers the 2 PPI 10" subs with remote amp control. I just installed a air/fuel ratio gauge for when the car was carbbed. New Sylvania Halogen Lo-beam headlights (the high intensity ones) and a replaced ignition switch in the steering column. I still have a few more mods i want to do but let me know what you think, i am going to college in Texas but the car is still in jersey with the title and i need to get rid of it so i can get something down here.
