I have a 2002 Z28, 54,000 miles on the body and about 48,000 on the motor, motor installed by Horsepower Engineering, transmission built by Century Transmissions, navy blue, automatic, ebony leather interior, power locks, windows, tilt, cruise, t-tops, frame is boxed and crossed tied, after market anti sway bar. I bought it used after my 97 got totalled. I had it about 3 months when water got into the motor and the insurance paid for a used motor for it, hence the 6,000 mile difference. The mechanic said that it was probably a blessing that this happened, even though it only had 27,000 miles on it when I purchased it, he thinks they were put on 1/4 mile at a time. LOL I don't race it, I'm a mature, adult female. Not that I don't like speed, I've just never raced it. Turn the tires over once in a while or keep someone from cutting me off is about the extent of my running it. LOL It has been very well maintained since I've owned it. Runs good, shifts firm, no problems, just normal nicks and scratches here and there, but nothing serious at all. I'm in the Houston area. Asking $15,500 for it. I'm not in a position that I have to sell it, but I'm strongly considering getting a 4 door car.

For What It's Worth: If it is the right car you are after, you have to be willing to give up the convenience of finding one in your own backyard and travel a little bit ... 1000 mi trip from NE Ohio to Texas can be done in two days of fun driving ... ;-)

You will be very very hard pressed to find a nicer example of a 5.7L IROC-Z ... original, low miles, and extremely well preserved .....
