1984 IROC WANTED
I'm looking for a 1984 IROC with good paint any color,as little rust as possible, and a manual tranny. I plan to put a 350 v8 and t56 in when I

IROC's were made from 1985 to 1990. I assume your looking for a 1985 only?

If you want an '84, you'll hafta settle for a Z28. You can put the IROC ground effects and hood on an '84. For a factory manual transmission IROC, you'll hafta settle for one with a carburetor if you want an '85. Manual with TPI wasn't offered until '87. I'm sure I'm not the only one wondering why you would think of an '84 IROC, or why you would want one? You wanted something noone else has? Do one, get an '84 Z28, keep the '84 ground effects, but do the paint and stickers like an '85. They're called "phantoms", the definition is something the factory might have offered, but really didn't. Of course, once you do the engine swap, your phantom will only work so long as you keep the hood closed.
