Hey, I'm looking for a (mostly) driveable project car in Massachusetts. I'm open to anything less than $2000. Let me know what you have.

 

Looking up to $3000 now. Are these cars really getting that hard to come by anymore? I realize I've been out of a thirdgen now for about 5 years, but really. It was just like yesterday that there was a project for sale, sub $1000 everywhere you looked...

 

I've got one in Michigan. It's an 89 Camaro RS.

-305 TBI V8.
-700R4 Automatic Transmission
-Racing seats and Harnesses (4 point)
-Runs good
-Posi rear end. I think its 3.73, but will verify upon request.
-minimal rust; none on floor panels, just a bit under the f/d wheel well, and on a dent in the driver door. Incidentally, two rust free replacement parts on one of my parts cars, just havent got around to replacing them as I am in Missouri right now.
T-Tops
Solid tires, less than 10k miles. Just replaced Battery, Alternator, Steering column, Front Rotors, hood lifter/dampeners and a host of other gizmos
EGR blocked off

exhaust needs work. probably new muffler.
Rear hatch automatic pull down broken. have pieces, currently held in place with metal piece I fabricated.
Hood paint peeling (california plant car)
dent in driver door (as mentioned) and just behind on quarter panel.
half way through a headliner revamp- unfinished.

Asking $2,300, but really I'm looking to trade for something with a 5-speed, and maybe, just maybe a 350.

 

i have a 91 RS white with t-tops 305 TBI automatic. The body is in great overall shape, except the driver side door has a big dent from a car backing into it. no rust or rot to speak of. engine runs great, 192,000 miles transmission is great, has working pull down hatch motor, hid xenon headlights, and t-top storage bag. I'm in Rockland MA and I was hoping to get $3500 for it, but come on down and take a look and we can talk it out.
